MACDis committed to working with composers in the development of new work and committed to the use of live music in performance. Melanie's interest is in integrating the musicians into the work in both subtle and prominent ways and in collaborating with the composer. The art of music and dance (which I love), turns the community in which we serve from gloom to HOPE. The sound of music fills my office and liberates my thoughts. You see, my heart not only beats for me, but for every human being touched by my colorful paint brush full of life, liberty and the pursuit of art.
