Lauren manages the Regrant Programs for the Arts Council in Buffalo and Erie County, which includes Erie County Decentralization (DEC), KeyArts and NYFA SOS and carries out technical assistance and professional development programming. She also administers the Arts Niagara DEC Program for the Carnegie Art Center in Niagara County and has experience in artist professional development, grantwriting, curating, art marketing and gallery administration. She has worked for the Niagara Tourism & Convention Corporation in Sales and Marketing and managed their internship program. She graduated with a BA in Art History and Communication Studies from Canisius College and a MA in the Art Market: Principles and Practices from the Fashion Institute of Technology (SUNY). Lauren has giving presentations about the regional DEC programs at NYSCA statewide conferences and enjoys promoting the cultural richness of Western New York. Lauren is a dedicated patron of the arts and a certified USPAP personal property/fine art appraiser.
Gerald Burgin has worked at the Arts Council in Buffalo & Erie County for the past 3 years. He oversees day to day business matters and the Arts Council Health Insurance program.
